NEW LDS PODCAST EPISODES EACH WEEK
We record new In Black and White shows weekly on Fridays. We aim to explore different gospel topics from the scriptures or from what some of our LDS leaders are teaching. Usually, a bit of both.
Tune in weekly to catch each new show as it goes live! We will try to have those up by Saturday night at the latest, unless outlying circumstances arise.
We love to discuss some things that our listeners are thinking about, so please feel free to message use about those
Below we have a list of all of our LDS podcast episodes from newest to oldest, so feel free to start listening now.
We have new shows going live weekly. Check some of them out below!
Our 10th episode! Whoo! Great blessings come when we make and keep covenants with the Lord. Sometimes, we feel impressed to make personal covenants. Most other times, we have covenants we can enter into through different ordinances. Whatever these circumstances may be, we should always remember that the Lord is the one who sets the terms of blessings as we keep our covenants. Which is pretty awesome since He never breaks his promises to us.
(D&C 82:10; Alma 24:18)
We just had the passing of a great prophet and man of God, Thomas S. Monson. While we will miss him on this earth, we are happy to know he is with his wife and other loved ones again. At the same time, we have witnessed the call of a new prophet: President Russell M. Nelson, another great man of God. We are pretty stoked to have prophets leading and guiding us here on the earth. So let’s talk about these men and prophets in general. These guys are for real.
(Luke 2:49; Judges 11; Mosiah 8:16-18; Mathew 7:16-20)
One of the most powerful tools we have with us at all times is prayer. God can take whatever situation we are in and help us make the best of it if we turn to him and engage in some serious Prayerizing (pray-er-eyez-ing: Praying to God for guidance to make the best of whatever you are going through).
(Ether 6-7; Enos 1:4; Mosiah 24:12-16; 2 Nephi 32:9)
We are all children of God. This means that we are more than just creations of God – we are inheritors who have a divine identity and a divine destiny. No matter who we are, our potential and our worth doesn’t change in the eyes of God.
(Ether 3-5, Moses 1:39, D&C 14:7, Our Identity and Our Destiny by Tad R. Callister)
It’s Thanksgiving week! What a great time to remember how important gratitude is. In fact, if we all lived with more gratitude in our hearts we would probably find ourselves happier. After all, there really is so much to be grateful for – we just have to see it. Happy Thanksgiving friends – we hope you all eat yourself SICK!
(Ether 1-2, Alma 34:38, Luke 17:11-19)
